My public health workshops are an accessible, engaging entry point that meets students and professionals where they are and connects public health to the work they are already trained to do. I designed and facilitate a 60–90 minute workshop for undergraduate students, medical students, and healthcare providers, introducing core concepts and frameworks including the health impact pyramid, social ecological model, and social determinants of health. Participants explore how systems and social conditions shape health outcomes and leave better equipped to collaborate across disciplines and advance health equity.
