At pinkLab, we believe that the heart of public health innovation is collaboration. An initiative I developed to increase the capacity of the Department of Community Health Sciences to offer community-engaged teaching and learning, pinkLab is home to the advocacy program, interdisciplinary courses, the Applied Practice Experience in Community Health Sciences, and an engagement and resource hub.
PinkLab's work gained campus-wide recognition after a marketing and social media campaign drew the attention of the school newspaper. Since then, the lab has been featured across multiple university platforms as a go-to resource for both students and community organizations.
